South West Florida Wedding Venues I Love:

Grace River Island Resort

This private island resort in Fort Myers is such a hidden gem, and I’m honored to be on their preferred vendor list! It’s surrounded by water and lined with palm trees, giving you the full destination feel without leaving Florida. You can host your ceremony right by the water, celebrate under the stars, and truly make the space your own. It feels like a retreat for you and your guests, and the photo ops are stunning.

The Heitman House

This one sits right along the Caloosahatchee River and is an absolute dream at golden hour. The Heitman House combines historic architecture with a laid-back, coastal feel. Which means it’s perfect for couples who want both elegance and personality in their day. The wraparound porch, stunning interiors, and waterfront ceremony space make it one of the most romantic spots in Fort Myers.

The Alderman House

Just a few steps away (literally across the street) is The Heitman House (same owners!), The Alderman House brings a totally different feel. Think Gatsby-era architecture, art deco details, and a beautiful garden courtyard that’s perfect for smaller weddings. It’s bold, beautiful, and made for couples who love character and charm.

The Tree House

Tucked away in Fort Myers, The Tree House feels like a secret garden you stumble into. It’s intimate, whimsical, and full of greenery, a perfect backdrop for couples who want their day to feel personal and relaxed. It’s an especially good fit for earthy, boho vibes or low-key elopements with your closest people.

The White Rose

This venue is giving soft, timeless romance with its white-washed architecture, dreamy florals, and neutral backdrop that works with any color palette. Located in Naples, The White Rose is a favorite for classic weddings with a modern twist.

The Ivy House

Also part of the SWFL Wedding Venues collection, The Ivy House brings a clean, crisp aesthetic that’s ideal for spring or summer weddings. With lush outdoor spaces and bright interiors, it's a dream for couples who want light, airy photos and an elevated garden-party feel.

Kings Crossing Barn & Farm

If you’re drawn to rustic details, open skies, and twinkle lights, Kings Crossing Barn & Farm is worth a look! It offers a warm and welcoming vibe,  perfect for couples who want something personal and a little off the beaten path, but still stylish.

Corkscrew Weddings and Winery

Yes, you can get vineyard views in Florida, and Corkscrew Weddings and Winery proves it. This venue brings together wine-country charm and tropical warmth for a unique twist on the classic wedding. It’s casual, scenic, and ideal for couples who want their day to feel like a celebration, not a production.

A Southwest Florida Wedding Spotlight

This wedding was not at any of the venues listed above, but it brought together so much of what I love about shooting in Southwest Florida: the vibrant energy, the emotional moments, the tropical greens, golden light, plus 80 degrees in February. Talk about a dream!

I was there as the second shooter, soaking it all in and capturing the moments that made the day feel so alive.

From getting ready to golden hour portraits, the whole day was equal parts lively and intimate. The couple planned with intention and joy, and it showed in every single frame.
